As our name implies, Fossil Creek Ranch is in the heart of Oklahoma’s fossil hunting territory. The geological conditions are perfect for finding a large variety of fossils including crinoid, brachiopod, byrozoa, and other fossil types. You may want to come for a day of fossil hunting. For a small daily fee, we’ll provide you with a bucket, spade, and pick. You can spend your morning searching along the creek and then move to the various rock deposits in the afternoon. You are bound to find a fossil or two that is yours for the taking.

Activities
The 100-acre ranch
brings you riding and hiking trails that meander through some of
Southern Oklahoma’s most spectacular country. Discover quiet
valleys and rolling hills along with a picturesque creek that will
take your breath away. At the end of the day, put your feet up
around the campfire or gather with friends for an array of
activities including volleyball, billiards or even a fun game of
horseshoes.
